Strolls in Lopinot (22nd Jan. 2017)

On Sunday afternoon I took a drive to Lopinot. It is located north of Arouca on the southern slopes of the northern mountain range, and was founded by Count Lopinot. He was granted 478 acers of land by the King of England, where he established a coco estate on this land. There are many folk and ghost stories associated with this place however, this entry isn’t about that. I visited Lopinot to capture some images of this historical site, see some of them below.
