Dave & Buster/Times Square Pt1: Sunmi (24th June 2022)

Those who have been following my work have noticed that I do enjoy creating and making images in low light environments. Here is a photoshoot I have been wanting to do for quite some time. Sunmi expressed her interest in creating some night portrait images, and when I told her about the location I had in mind for this photoshoot she was very excited.

As a kid I always enjoyed going to the video arcade and envisioning making images n this space. There was always something about the neon, florescent lights and its colors, I knew they would be perfect to capture in an images. Sunmi and I went to Dave & Busters to create these images and to my surprise it was a lot busier than I expected. Sunmi kept it very casual for this photoshoot and wore a black and white dress with some combat boots. Her wardrobe went well with the location, especially as it did not make the images distracting.
